- Eufy Omni S1 Pro
The gunmetal and gloss black Omni S1 Pro from Eufy is one of most impressive mop and robot vacuum combos available. It makes use of lidar to navigate making maps of floors and rooms.
The S1 was able to map my downstairs quickly, which has flooring in the kitchen, dining area, and bathrooms, as well as medium-pile and a large rug. It was able to drive close to walls without colliding with them, and was able to cross thresholds for rooms that are raised without problem, although it sometimes had trouble navigating down the stairs in one pass. The S1 performed admirably in cleaning hard floors. Its mop moved smoothly on its flat side and swung up when it came to carpets or rugs.
After every mopping session, the docking station on the S1 automatically empties its dustbin and fills up its water tank with filtered, clean water ozonated. The dock also includes a cleaning solution in the water for deep cleaning. The S1's water tank can hold enough water for about 12 cleaning sessions before it needs to be cleaned, although this will vary depending on how often you use the mop.
Like all 2-in-1 robots, the S1 requires regular maintenance to keep it working efficiently. You'll need to wash out the tank that has been contaminated to keep it from becoming blocked. You'll also need to clean the swivel wheels and sensors regularly to keep them from getting clogged by dust or dirt. However, overall, the S1 is simple to maintain, particularly compared to other combos that require more care.

Ecovacs All-in-one robot vacuum and mop is a powerful solution for your cleaning requirements. The robot vacuum is rated at 8,700Pa of suction and offers a number of innovative features, such as full home mapping, voice control and smart path-planning that avoids obstacles and cleans around furniture. Its mopping capability is remarkable, with mops rotating that actually lift and scrub the floor rather than simply dragging the pad across it. The mops can also be cleaned and dried at the base station if required.
This robot combination is simple to set up and use, and has a clear interface that guides you through the process. It also includes a hand vacuum which can be used to clean those hard-to reach areas that the robot is unable to reach. There are two water tanks that are automatically emptied or refilled. It has a variety of useful settings to fine-tune your cleaning preferences.
The Deebot X2 Combo Complete is an excellent vacuum cleaner. It has a strong suction which can easily pick up dirt and other debris that other robots struggle with. Its navigation capabilities are quite good, though it could get stuck on small mats and rugs around my home (which you can alleviate by defining virtual boundaries in the app). Its mopping capabilities are also excellent, with a pair spinning mop heads that are able to lift and scrub floors, rather than just drag the pad across it. The mops are also cleaned with heated water, and dried in the base station whenever required. The mops are also filled at the top of the station as required.
- Dreame X40 Ultra
Dreame's X30 Ultra robot vacuum and mop were released earlier in the year. However, their latest flagship model comes with even more impressive features. It has outstanding cleaning performance and hands-free maintenance making it a top contender for our top robot vacuum and mop list. Its superior mapping abilities, RGB AI smart detection and a larger side brush ensure that an effective, customized cleaning is completed.
The X40 Ultra vacuums well, getting rid of both large and fine debris. It is equally effective on hard floors and carpets. It cleaned the dirtiest places of our tests with ease while avoiding pet hairs and other messes. The sweeping capability of the machine is enhanced by a sidebrush that automatically moves out to get into areas that are difficult to reach and mop pads that run across baseboards.
Its navigation system is nimble that can navigate small spaces and negotiating stairways without skipping a step. It can move from one room to another without having to reverse direction it is a useful feature for larger homes with several rooms. Its obstacle avoidance system is less advanced than some competitors and leaves a wide margin around obstacles. This could lead to miss-hit spots.
The app features a simple, intuitive interface that should be user-friendly for both new and experienced users. The app lets you schedule and manage cleanings, adjust the suction power and mopping settings and view 3D and 2D maps, and more. It can be controlled through the app, Alexa, Google Assistant or Siri, allowing you to monitor its progress from anywhere. You can also remotely control the X40 Ultra camera for real-time monitoring. You will need a stable WiFi connection to use the app and external controls.

A robot vacuum does an excellent job of removing dirt and debris but it's not always able to get every last particle of dust. Roborock's Q5 Pro, a 2-in-1 robot that both vacuums and mops, is designed to do exactly that. It is easy to connect to your home WiFI network and works with Alexa or Apple Siri.
The Q5 is a stripped-down version of the company's expensive S-series models. It includes the flagship Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra. It has the same LIDAR mapping sensors, however it is cheaper because it doesn't come with mopping capabilities and comes with plastic body.
The Q5 remains one of the most powerful mopping and vacuums we've seen in this price range, despite not being able to wipe your floor. It has a suction power of 5500Pa and an auto-empty system, so you don't have to empty the bin manually every time. It also features a smart application that lets you choose the type of floor and schedule cleanings, as well as an automatic refill of the water tank and wash system for hands-free operation.
Its mops are also impressive, with a 2700Pa power to combat pet hair and dirt, on both carpets and hard floors. The Q5 is among the few robots we test that didn't have trouble with high-pile carpets and area carpets, but it didn't clean up cat litter or cable tangles, which is no surprise given that it doesn't have AI-powered obstacle avoidance.
- K10 Plus
K10 Plus is one of the quietest robot vacuums we have tested, it also uses a unique system to map your home, which really helps it get into corners and tight spaces that other vacuums can't reach. It also stores dust in a bigger dustbin which means you have empty it less frequently. Additionally, it has washable filters that further lower the cost of using the device. The robot is also able to detect carpets and boost the suction if needed. The app also allows you to mark areas you want to avoid this is a useful feature.
